I am proud to announce that Inga Cholmogorova is creating two new works for two upcoming shows in October in Amsterdam and I welcome you on the behalf of the artist to come and experience!
The new piece in collaboration with Hiram Pines in NYC will be presented on 6th of October during New York - Amsterdam Show.
Live performance taking place in NYC performed by Hiram Pines and in Amsterdam by Sakurako will be presented as well as photographs.
"Same, same but different", - they say in Asia and this is the starting point for the artist to start work for this occasion - the trans-atlantic connection between two dancers female in Amsterdam and male in NYC will be revealed through presence, movement and gesture in the public space with the focus on the personal rituals and the deeper interconnectivity going beyond time& space continuum.
The new work will be presented at OT301 on the 11th of October during the event organised by the nomadic initiative LA MECEDORA presenting live performances, video, dance and music.

"What moves us?" is a starting point to make this piece, where the artist investigates the "Known" and habitual movement and interaction with others, through verbal communication and body language within socially and culturally accepted manner as well as "Unknown" carnal and animalistic ways of interacting following the landscape of ever-changing sensations within the body and interaction/ reaction on the environment through the senses: sound, sight, touch smell and taste.
